Whenever I chat with V, I find myslef making uncharacteristic references to stereotypes of Asian culture. I allude to extended families, or wives that walk 10 paces behind their husbands, or whatever.
It's wierd because that doesn't happenw ith anyone else I know. It's not like she's the only Asian person in my life, or that I'm friends with. But somehow, for some reason, a stereotype trips out of my mouth whenever we spend time together.
I think it might be because she is in a position of authority, a postion of power in relation to me.
