Saw a Bengali guy who lives in my building who is too friendly. I have, in the past, thought he was after my 'white arse', seeing his behaviour in terms of race instead of a general sleeziness as I would if he was white.
He got out of the lift at his floor and a tall white woman with lots of hair was waiting for him. He said to her, sorry miss... then the doors of the lift closed. I completely jumped to the conclusion that he was her pimp. Amazing. True he's sleezy, true I don't like him, but I don't know whether I would have come to the same conclusion if he was white and dressed in the way he does.
