Visited some in-laws and noticed patterns in conversation. We spent two days and I realised that in conversation, when she's saying something she knows to be 'dodgy', racist in a mild middle-class way, she won't finish her sentences. Things are left implied rather than said so unless you're really in the mood for fighting, you just let them go... It's an interesting tactic and I realise now that it happens quite often in middle class circles.
Stereotyping by implication, racism by nuance.
