Incredibly interesting. It showed the middle-class white (dominant culture) bias in the resources we use - resources that are specifically meant to translate, or mediate, between the child's culture and experience and the artwork.
Eventhough I see institutional racism in many of the places I work, there are whole areas that are outside my focus, where I am also part of the problem. Blindspots I guess you could call them.
