I'm beginning to suspect the tv schedulers are preparing us for something. Of course, in the immediate aftermath of September 11th, many tv shows were pulled, ones which would have been in bad taste in the light of the atrocity.

But now there seems to be less of an obvious reason for the glut of old good guy / bad guy flicks like black and white Westerns and old World War 2 films. Drama with very easy sympathies, ones where we know immediatly who is on the right side of the law...
