I was in pain all the way down my neck. It took me some days to locate the source of the pain as my tooth so I went to the dentist and he said the tooth appeared sound but that, as the next step would be a root canal, I should check out all other possibilities first, like medical...
So I queued up for my doctor - and I really don't like him. There's something about him that scares me. He is a white man with reddish hair and an English surname so I guess he's English. There's nothing about him that I can pin-point but I distrust him. I just do. Luckily I was ushered in to see the new doctor, also a white man but with a Jewish surname and as soon as I saw him I felt much safer.
It might not be that he's (possibly) Jewish, it might be that he's kind of small and unthreatening and doesn't start with the question, what appears to be the problem? I don't know. I just know that I feel differently about him and that I think he's Jewish probably doesn't hurt.
