you

I was wallking along home from the studio, watching people and making up stories - as you do. I realised how much I assume about people based on very little.

I watched a bit of crazy older white guy across the street. He was walking quickly and staring hard at two Bengali women struggling with some abandoned furniture, trying to take it to their home. I immediately assumed that he had left the furniture - a set of drawers - and he was annoyed that Asian people were taking it. I immediately assumed racism behind his stare. I watched him cross the road and head for them. I suddenly thought he was going to help them with their burden and suddenly I imagined he wasn't racist. Then he turned on his heal and walked the other way so I just fugured he was a nutter.

Funny how much I assumed based on very little...
