I've organised a training course for museum and gallery-educators aimed at people from minority ethnic backgrounds which are currently under-represnted in the sector. I sent out a huge emailout which has been passed on widely because I'm getting enquiries from places and organisations I have never heard of. But I have also seen bulletins with a summary of the project with the whole emphasis on diversity omitted. On a couple of the bulletins that I have seen (and then sent in corrections), the training scheme is just about general skills with no mention of target course participants.

Who and why would anyone want to omit that important part of the course information when passing it on?
