Trickle Down & Trickle Down + (2005)

Made for InterWeaving Cultures exhibition at Jim Thompson House, Bangkok, Thailand, curated by Gridthiya Gaweewong, Sachiko Namba and Ann Coxon.

Trickledown+ (2005) is a shuffle puzzle where some pieces are stuck together and can’t move easily or at all and others move easily across the board. The pieces that can’t move have the word for Bhat, the currency of Thailand. The pieces that can glide across the surface are GBP (British pounds), USD (US and/or Australian Dollars), Euros and Japanese Yen.
