The other day I noticed loads of women on my way from the studio wearing Hijab, including full veils.

It was hot. I was simulatenously aware of all the cleavage and naked flesh around me. And I imagined that these women were responding to all the sudden nakedness by wearing Hijab.

But the next day, when it was much cooler, I realised that actually a lot of women in the area do wear Hijab and that it obviously had nothing to do with the weather. I guess it was a bit weird of me to put the two things together. I guess because it was hot I was suddenly aware of how much material they had on - and in order to rationalize their choice to myself, I imagined they were doing it as a kind of feminist response. For me, that would make the counter-logical decision to wear more in hot weather understanderable...

But I know that's totally missing the point of Hijab and that I'm just imposing my own moral framework...
